While they have a similar appearance, 18ct white gold and platinum are quite different

We recommend having your Simon West jewellery professionally cleaned and inspected every two years so we can check settings, claws and general wear and advise you of any maintenance that may be required.

Yes. Our handmade jewellery is crafted for everyday wear, but we recommend removing it during heavy lifting, gardening, gym workouts, swimming, or activities where it may be exposed to impact or chemicals.
Yes. White gold naturally requires rhodium plating over time to maintain its bright white appearance. During your maintenance appointment, we can inspect and replate your ring if required.

Yes. A deposit is required before we begin designing and creating your custom piece.
Unfortunately not. Once a deposit has been paid, custom jewellery orders cannot be cancelled.
Yes. Minor design changes can usually be made before gemstones are set into the piece. We'll discuss any changes with you during the design process.
